(CHICAGO) It seems the mobile ticketing app used by Metra commuters is gaining in popularity.

The Ventra app has been downloaded more than one million times since its debut in November 2015.

The app that allows riders to pay their CTA, Metra and Pace fares has also been used to buy more than $110 million in fares.

In a statement Metra says the Ventra app now accounts for nearly one in four of ticket sales.
