(CHICAGO) The politician who brought you the new soda pop tax says there shouldn’t be any uncertainty about it.

Still, there seems to be plenty of confusion about how to charge the sweetened beverage tax, yet Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle says there shouldn’t be, stating “Since November we worked with retailers and made changes to the rules and regulations and on four occasions we modified them in ways that they requested.”

Preckwinkle is also on record as expressing confidence the pop tax will survive any appeal.
