(CHICAGO) Another major expansion at O’Hare where a ribbon has been snipped on a big new cargo facility.

DHL is now operating a new 54,000 square foot cargo facility at O’Hare.

Mayor Emanuel says it’s a big part of OHare’s ever-growing cargo capacity, “”A third of China’s air cargo comes in and out of OHare. By investing in the new runways and this facility, Chicago’s gonna be number one.”

O’Hare is on track to do nearly two million tons of cargo this year.
