Seth Grossman, a Republican congressional candidate running for office in New Jersey, called diversity “a bunch of crap and un-American,” in a video posted to YouTube by a progressive super PAC.
He’s not apologizing.
Grossman made the comments in a talk in April, dismissing the idea of diversity as “an excuse by Democrats, communists and socialists”.
And he’s not backing down – after the comments surfaced, he doubled down in a Facebook post saying “America did not become great because of ‘diversity’.”
Grossman won his Republican primary election last month.
