(CHICAGO) Today was Democrats day at the State Fair in Springfield.

Challenger JB Pritzker fired up the troops by calling businessman Gov. Bruce Rauner “managerially incompetent,” “unhinged,” and he added this:

“Now I don’t know if you heard, but Rauner says he plans to move to Italy if he loses in November. So, after four years of failure, of maligning and attacking the very people who make this state great, I have just one thing to say to this governor, ‘Chiao, Bruce!'”

Pritzker got an assist from “the most famous mayor you’ve never heard of,”  South Bend’s Pete Buttigieg, who was standing in for Joe Biden who came down with of all things for him, laryngitis:

“Admittedly there were some financial challenges, but when this governor was handed lemons, he miraculously turned them into a dumpster fire!”

Mayor Pete called President Trump “a disgraced game show host.”
