(CHICAGO) In the race for governor, a charge of hypocrisy.

The possibility of hypocrisy in politics may not be shocking, but Governor Bruce Rauner says his challenger JB Pritzker is a hypocrite.

That’s because Rauner says Pritzker used non-union labor for his Astor Street mansion renovation when he claims to be pro-union, “When Pritzker is running on the basis of claiming to be for union workers and their families and then behave that way, it’s deceitful. It’s dishonest and he’s been shown to be repeatedly dishonest in his words and his deeds.”

The Pritzker campaign says their man had “minimal involvement in the renovation work and any hiring decisions were made by those dealing with the day-to-day management of the renovation.”
