New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says the city will take additional security measures to prevent any retalitation from Iran.

de Blasio says he’s met with NYPD and city officials about extra steps to protect key locations, tweeting that the city will be “vigilant against this threat”.

In Los Angelese, LAPD say they are “monitoring the events developing in Iran” although there is currently “no credible threat”.
