Cisco Cotto
Cisco Cotto began his work career at age 9 as a paperboy delivering the Beacon News in his Aurora neighborhood. Then at age 14 he started working at McDonald's. 9 years later he was sick of actually working for a living so he went into radio. His first job was at WBYS-AM/FM in Canton, Illinois. While in college at Western Illinois University he also worked at WIUM-FM in Macomb. After an internship he was hired as a news reporter and anchor at WMAQ-AM 670 here in Chicago. Two years later he arrived at the Big 89 in the news department. He had so much fun working on the air with Don Wade and Roma that he decided to step out of journalism and into talk radio.
Jay Marvin gave Cisco the nickname "The Reverend" because he has a Master of Divinity from Moody Bible Institute. Cisco, his wife Anna, and their daughter Gabby live in Oak Park.
