(SKOKIE) A track problem has suspended service on the CTA’s Yellow Line Monday morning.
The issue was first reported about 10:15 p.m. Sunday. As of 5 a.m. Monday, service was still suspended, according to the CTA. There is no estimate for when trains will begin running again.
Shuttles buses are providing connecting service through the affected area.
The No. 97 Skokie bus is also a good alternative to the Yellow Line, according to the transit agency.
“We are working to restore service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” the CTA said in a commuter alert.
Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time.
