(CHICAGO) A 45-year-old man died after he was pulled from Lake Michigan Tuesday morning on the Near North Side.
The Chicago Police Marine Unit pulled a person from the water in the 800 block of North Lake Shore Drive at 10:10 a.m., police said.
Willis Jones of the 2700 block of East 75th Street was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died at 4:07 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy found he drowned and his death was ruled an accident.
