(CHICAGO) A naked man caused a disturbance Monday morning when he stole a landscaping truck from the Gold Coast neighborhood, crashed it on Lake Shore Drive, then jumped in Lake Michigan.

Officers responded to a well-being check for a man not wearing any clothes and causing a disturbance in the 100 block of East Delaware Place a few minutes after 7 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The man stole a landscaping truck and headed for Lake Michigan, causing a crash on Lake Shore Drive, police said. He ran away from the truck after the crash and jumped into the lake.

The 33-year-old was pulled from the lake at Monroe Harbor and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for evaluation, according to police and the Chicago Fire Department.
