During a youth football matchup in Beech Grove, IN, a coach was arrested for punching a referee in the face during a game over the weekend.
Coach James Gann, 37, informed officers that the altercation began when his son was hurt during a play. He walked onto the field to check on his wellbeing when the referee came in between the father and son. According to Gann, the ref told him to watch his mouth or be ejected from the game. Gann then struck the referee, taunting him while he was laid out. Gann was arrested.
Remember the words of the great Coach Taylor. “Clear jabs, full fists, Can’t lose!”
