(CHICAGO) Several media reports say the Chicago White Sox have traded Chris Sale to the Boston Red Sox in a deal that lands INF Yoan Moncada and RHP Michael Kopech who was drafted by  the Red Sox in the first round in June 2014. He has yet to make his Major League debut.

Also reportedly headed to the White Sox is RHP Victor Diaz and 2B/SS Luis Basabe. Both played in Boston’s Single-A Greenville.

White Sox GM Rick Hahn has set the table for this move for weeks saying that the long term success of the team was going to be addressed in a way it hadn’t been for some time.
