Former Bulls GM Krause Dead At 77

(CHICAGO)  Former Bulls GM Jerry Krause has passed away.

The Chicago native was there for all of the Bull’s six NBA Championships in the 1990’s. He retired from the NBA in 2003 because of heath problems. He later went to work as a scout for the White Sox in 2010, a position he had held in the 1970’s and 1980’s and ended his career with in the scouting department for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Krause attended Taft High School and later Bradley University. He is survived by his wife, two stepchildren and four grandchildren. A memorial service is set for April 9.

Krause was 77.
