(CHICAGO) The Illinois Department of Transportation has released information for more road construction projects beginning the week of April 10.
There will be daily, off-peak closures on Illinois 59 between Barrington Road & Higgins Road, in Barrington, Barrington Hills and South Barrington for patching and resurfacing.
IL-59 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers during construction activities that will continue through the end of summer 2017.
In another project, the Foster Avenue bridge over the North Branch of the Chicago River will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Keeler Avenue and Pulaski Road daily.
These closures are for a bridge painting project that will extend the life span of the bridge. The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2017.
