(CHICAGO) In the race for mayor, one of the city’s leading progressives is telling Bill Cameron that voters should be ignoring what many in the media are saying about the race.
David Orr – the former county clerk and alderman who actually was an acting mayor for a week – has this advice for you if you’re planning to vote for mayor.
“Try not to play this fame of, well, these people have the most money, these are the insiders, this is what the media suggest. Look at the talent of the people and how they can fix our broken government and let that make your decision. In our politics, to make it better we’ve got to look for the people who would be best to do the job.”
Orr isn’t ready to endorse for mayor but he does have nice things to say about Lori Lightfoot and Amara Enyia.
