When traveling with seniors, try not to overplan, or be sure to take rest breaks often and make sure everyone stays hydrated.
If you have a variety of ages with you, don’t expect everyone to agree on doing the same thing. While it’s nice to have some activities to do together (such as eating or museums), it’s also okay for people to do activities apart.

Travel insurance, through a company like Allianz, gives you the security in traveling
Whether you’re taking a plane or a cruise, travel insurance gives you the comfort in knowing you can cancel a trip due to illness, a death in the family, and, in some cases, severe weather conditions, and still get a full refund.
This will also protect you if you miss a cruise sailing due to a delayed or canceled flight.
Be sure your police covers any flights and hotel stays.
