The measles outbreak has now spread to 25 states, as Maine officially joined the list this week.

The state CDC has confirmed a child contracted measles earlier this year, the state’s first confirmed case since 2017.

So far this year, more than 880 cases of measles have been reported nationwide, the most since 1994. New York state has seen the most cases with 75.
