The Fed is going to inspect North Carolina election equipment amid hacking fears.

In 2016, the equipment supplier was targeted by Russian hackers. Though they hadn’t, voters on election day were told they had already voted.

Three years later, the Department of Homeland Security has “finally” agreed to a thorough inspection, NPR reports.
