The North Carolina House of Representatives has failed to override a veto by Governor Roy Cooper on the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act,” 67-53.

This is the law that would have charged Abortion providers with a felony if they didn’t try and save the life of an infant born alive during an Abortion attempt.

Cooper said lawmakers should be working to protect the lives of all children and not on making political statements.
