A 1-year-old Indiana girl fell to her death after being dangled over the side of a cruise ship.

The girl’s grandfather told police he lost his grip while holding the girl out a window of the Freedom Of The Seas, a cruise ship docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She fell about 150 feet onto concrete below.

The ship had just completed a 7-day cruise of Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados. Police are now investigating and believe the incident to be a ‘tragic accident’.
