As Amazon gets ready for its annual Prime Day sale, thousands of Amazon workers around the world are launching strikes and walkouts to protest the retailer’s working conditions.

Warehouse employees in the UK, Germany, and U.S. are organizing protests, calling for better pay and safer working conditions.

While European protests have taken place during past Prime Days, a six-hour walkout in Shakopee, Minnesota will be the first major action taken by U.S. employees.
