Just because all the kids are doing it, doesn’t mean you should too. That’s the message from the Democratic National Committee.

According to CNN , the DNC has warned 2020 presidential hopefuls and their campaigns on Wednesday not to use the popular FaceApp over its ties to Russia.

The app, which has been around since 2017, has caused a new viral sensation, with users posting selfies aged by the program’s artificial intelligence technology.

Chief security officer, Bob Lord, says the committee has “significant concerns about the app (as do other security experts),” and asks that staffers “delete the app immediately.”
