Comedian and passionate advocate for 9/11 first responders Jon Stewart slammed Senator Rand Paul on Fox News over Paul’s block of the 9/11 victim’s compensation fund. Stewart said that Rand’s decision to block compensation in favor of a balanced budget “comes on the backs of the 9/11 first responder community.”

Paul wants the $10.2 billion/ten-year compensation plan to come from money cut from other projects. Stewart said Paul’s block is “absolutely outrageous” adding “you’ll pardon me if I’m not impressed in any way by Rand Paul’s fiscal responsibility virtue signaling.”
