More than 63,000 rubber ducks filled the Chicago River on Thursday, all to benefit a good cause.

Enough ducks to fill two dump trucks were poured into the water to ‘race’ down the river for the city’s 14th annual ‘Ducky Derby’. Prizes ranged from NASCAR tickets to a brand new 2019 Chevy Equinox.

Contestants purchased the bright yellow ducks for $5 apiece, with the money going to the Illinois Special Olympics. After the race, the ducks were scooped up to be used again next year.
