Democratic Senator Chris Murphy says Russia has denied him a visa to enter the country. Murphy was planning to visit Russia as part of an upcoming congressional delegation.

Russia’s been denying visas to politicians over the years who have pushed for sanctions against the country. Separately, a group of Democratic Senators wrote a letter to the White House administration on Tuesday, objecting to allowing Russia to enter the G-7.
