Just in time for India Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming ban on plastic bags, cups, and straws, Amazon says it will stop using single-use plastic packaging there by next June.

The e-commerce giant says the plan is to replace all single-use plastic in its packaging with paper cushions.

Just last week competitor Flipkart said it has cut down on single-use plastic use by 25% and will move entirely to recycled plastic by March 2021.
