The Pentagon has approved moving more than $3 billion that was originally allocated to pay for military construction projects to pay for eleven wall projects along the southern border.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper said the projects are necessary to support the use of the armed forces in connection with a national emergency.

However, not everyone in Washington is happy about it, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized the move, calling it a slap in the face to members of the military.
