On Thursday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued eight differen executive orders aimed at preventing mass shootings.

The orders include extra measures for report on and inform the public about potential mass shootings, and hiring more staff to monitor suspicious activity online.

Abbott says he will keep working to “keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals, while safeguarding the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding Texans”.
