Former President Calls for Presidential Age Limit

Former United States President Jimmy Carter, 94, told the crowd at an Atlanta town hall that there’s no way he could run for president again, even if he were 80 years young. He said he wished for a presidential age limit.

He said, even at 80, the mind’s not as flexible to handle such a monumental task as leading the free country. He says that a president has to be able to concentrate on several subjects at once and put them all together comprehensively.

So, if Carter thinks 80 should be the presidential age limit, that would keep Joe Biden, currently 76, and Bernies Sanders, 78, from running for president. Carter started his presidential term at 53.
