The Coast Guard just made another huge drug bust – this time nabbing a ‘narco sub’ carrying an estimated 12,000 pounds of cocaine.

Earlier this month, the Coast Guard cutter Valiant intercepted the 40-foot semi-submersible, arresting four smugglers with the help of the Colombian Navy.

About 1,100 pounds of cocaine were seized, but the rest had to be left behind because the sub was too unstable. The total street value of the drugs was estimated at over $165 million.
