Canada’s Green Party Uses Photoshop On Campaign Photo

If you’re running for election as the environmental champion, it’s probably best to be seen publically doing the right thing for the planet.

When Canada’s Green Party leader was photographed holding a single-use paper cup, campaign officials broke out Photoshop.

A previously published image of Elizabeth May was altered to place a reusable plastic cup featuring the party logo in her hand, along with adding a metal straw. The pic was then posted to their website.

May apologized and says she’s “completely shocked” by the fakery, joking with reporters, “If they’re going to Photoshop, couldn’t they do something with my face and make it look a little younger?”
