The man who created the labradoodle says he regrets unleashing a “Frankenstein’s monster upon the world.”

Wally Conron of Australia created the breed in the late 1980s when he was asked to find an ideal dog for a blind woman and her dog-allergic husband.

Speaking on an Australian podcast, Conron said it’s his life’s regret and that people are now breeding poodles with inappropriate dogs just for the money with little regard for the health of the animals.
