Senate Passes Stopgap Funding Bill To Avoid Government Shutdown

On top of everything else that’s going on in Washington right now, Congress is trying to avoid another government shutdown.

On Thursday, the Senate passed a stopgap spending bill that would fund the government through Nov. 21st, five days ahead of the Monday deadline to avoid a shutdown.

But remains to be seen if President Trump will sign off on the bill, which does not include White House-requested provisions to help fund a border wall.
