An Arizona man is facing first-degree murder charges after allegedly killing his 6-year-old son while attempting an exorcism.

Police say 31-year-old Pablo Martinez held his son under a bathtub faucet, pouring hot water into the child’s mouth for five to ten minutes.

Martinez told officers that his son was “acting demonic” and that he was attempting to cast the demon out.
