The FTC doesn’t care if New Orleans Saint Drew Brees is listed as a spokesperson or if Dallas Cowboys Jason Whitten says “It’s perfect for athletes”; they’ve fined nutritional supplement company AdvoCare $150 million for running a pyramid scheme.

The FTC says AdvoCare was promising distributors unlimited earnings by selling the supplements but required distributors to make huge purchases and recruit others to do the same. Hundred of distributors either made no money or lost money altogether in the pyramid scheme, according to CBS-11 in Dallas-Fort Worth.
