The Mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey has admitted to stealing more than $87,000 from a youth basketball program.

Well, he was the mayor. 49-year-old Frank Gilliam Jr. resigned after taking a plea deal with federal prosecutors.

Authorities say he took the money from the AC Starz program, which he co-founded, over a five year period beginning in 2013. He used the donations personally for high end clothes, meals and trips.

CNN reports Gilliam faces up to 20 years in prison when sentenced in January.
