U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry says he’s not going anywhere, despite reports he was planning to leave the post in November.

While speaking to reporters during a visit to Lithuania, Perry denied the reports, saying “No. I’m here, I’m serving.” The Secretary added “They’ve been writing the story for at least nine months now.”

Democrats are investigating Perry’s possible role in the Ukraine scandal, after President Trump claimed the now-controversial phone call with Ukraine’s president was Perry’s idea.
