In another casualty of the United Auto Workers Union strike, the much-anticipated 2020 Corvette has been delayed.

The Detroit Free Press cites “two people familiar,” reporting the strike has delayed ongoing production of the current ‘vette and eventual retooling of the factory to build the new stringray.

GM’s Bowling Green plant in Kentucky was scheduled to begin production of the new mid-engine platform late this year. That could still happen but not to the same scale as had hoped.
