According to the Israel Antiquities Authority, archaeologists in Israel have uncovered the remains of an “immense” 5,000-year-old city.

The discovery was revealed during some recent road work between the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa and spans 160-acres.

Archaeologist Yitzhak Paz says the site is more than two or three times larger than the largest sites in this area during this period.
