Sources say that today the European Union will “most likely” agree to delay Britain’s departure from the European Union until January 31st.

The 27 national envoys to Brussels will meet this morning and diplomats and officials are hoping that the decision will be smooth.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government put pressure on Britain’s lawmakers to back early election to break the impasse on Brexit.
