A forensic pathologist claims the death of Jeffrey Epstein seems more consistent with a homicide than a suicide.

During an interview with Fox & Friends, former NYC medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden says Epstein’s injuries would be “extremely unusual” for a suicide and “could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation”.

Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges involving underage girls. Prison officials say he hung himself in his jail cell, and that the guards who were supposed to check on Epstein every 30 minutes had fallen asleep.

Baden was hired by Epstein’s brother to observe the autopsy and is the former host of the HBO show Autopsy .
