Authorities in Harris County, TX say a 39-year-old mother killed her three young children in an apparent murder-suicide.

Police say Ashley Auzenne fatally shot her children – 11-year-old Parrish, 9-year-old Eleanor, and 7-year-old Lincoln – before turning the gun on herself.

Their bodies were discovered Tuesday after relatives asked police to check on the family. According to court records, Auzenne had divorced her husband just one week earlier.
