A pregnant mom may have saved her family’s life when she fended off two home invaders with a rifle.

Jeremy King of Lithia, Florida says the masked men entered his home Wednesday night and demanded money at gunpoint. They brutally attacked him and threatened the couple’s 11-year-old daughter.

King says one of the men shot at his wife, who is eight months pregnant. She then retrieved an AR-15 rifle from the bedroom and returned fire, hitting one of the intruders.

The intruders fled the house, and one of them was found dead about 200 feet away. King suffered multiple facial fractures and a concussion in the attack.
