Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will touch down in Qatar today to meet Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

This official visit will see discussions centered around regional issues and bilateral relations.

The two governments have seen eye-to-eye on a range of regional foreign policy issues in addition to economic relations that have been robust.
