It looks as though LVMH is about to make its most expensive acquisition ever in a deal to acquire Tiffany & Co, for $16.2 billion.

LVMH is the world’s largest luxury conglomerate with names like Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Hennessy already under its umbrella.

CEO Bernard Arnault said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome Tiffany, a company with an unparalleled heritage and unique position in the global jewelry world, to the LVMH family.”
