A magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck parts of Mindanao in the Philippines yesterday afternoon.
The state-run Philippine Information Agency reported that several shoppers and employees of the three-story Southern Trade were feared trapped following the building’s collapse.
This marks the fifth quake above magnitude 6 that jolted Mindanao between October 16th and December 15th.
