Which Airlines Have The ‘Healthiest’ Meals?

Magic Mirror on the wall, which airlines have the healthiest food of them all? Well, that would be Air Alaska and Air Canada.

According to Dr. Charles Platkin, who heads up Hunter College’s NYC Food Policy Center, of 11 North American carriers, these two serve the most nutritional in-flight meals.

Platkin praises Air Canada for dishing out low-calorie, high-in-protein “mini-meals” every two hours while in the air, and pats Air Alaska on the back for posting “full menu and complete nutritional information” on its website.

If you’re booked on Southwest, you might want to bring your own snacks, says Platkin, noting the meals served on those flights only clock in at 106 calories.
