A Texas man, seemingly upset with the haircut his 13-year-old son just received, shot the barber on Saturday, says the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Det. Wallace Wyatt, the suspect returned to the Houston area shop in the evening and got the staff to fix the doo for free.

Then an argument allegedly broke out, leading to one male employee taking a bullet. The suspect then fled.

Investigators say the barber is in stable condition and is expected to live.
