An Uber passenger in the U.K. was shocked to see her charge was over $400 more than she expected.

The woman opted for Uber instead of a train for her trip from Central London to Gillingham. She dozed off in the car and woke up to see the car refilling the gas.

The ride would normally be 40 miles. The Uber app confirmed that the driver’s route was 89 miles. That’s why the trip cost $425 dollars more than it should have.

The passenger contacted Uber’s customer service. It took them four days to get back in touch with her. The company didn’t refund the money. They gave her a $350 rider credit to use on future trips.
